Deploy is an audit-ready Platform as a Service for hosting apps and databases that automatically implements the security controls you need to achieve regulatory compliance and pass customer audits.
Up-to-date asset inventory
Tired of asking your engineers to get you an up to date list of all your apps and databases? The Deploy integration will automatically keep the list up to date for you. Additionally, you can leverage procedures to automatically trigger processes when apps or databases are added or removed.
Our Deploy integration uses a service account to access only the endpoints necessary to keep your asset inventory up to date.
- Navigate to the Integrations tab in Comply, click Add Integration, and select Deploy.
- Create a service account with two-factor (2FA) disabled.
- Enter the credentials for the service account into Comply.
In order for Comply to communicate with Deploy on its own, you'll need to create a user that we can authenticate as. We recommend naming it so that it's obvious that it is used for the Comply integration and creating a read only role for it (Top Right Dropdown > Members > Roles). You can read more about Deploy's access control settings here. If there are environments (e.g. testing environments) you do not want to sync to your Comply account, remove the service account's access to them.
The most common problems when setting up the integration are:
- Mistakes entering the username and password.
- Service account has 2FA enabled.
If you receive an error message when trying to sync your integration, please check the above items and contact [email protected] if the problem persists.
