JumpCloud is a Directory as a Service that allows you manage all of your people, systems, and devices in one place.


Up-to-date asset inventory
By syncing with JumpCloud, you'll keep your "People", "Roles", and "Devices" up-to-date in Comply. Tickets can automatically trigger whenever there are new assets detected - for example, Comply can automatically trigger your Employee Onboarding procedure whenever a new person is detected in G Suite, or your Employee Offboarding procedure whenever a person is deprovisioned.

Automatic associations to people
We use JumpCloud's assignments of devices to automatically associate them with people and groups that use them.

Access control reviews: detect unauthorized access
Comply helps orchestrate the work of Access Control Reviews by pulling grants from JumpCloud, too. Grants are information about "Who has access to what?" for any access that you provision in JumpCloud. By pulling that information into Comply and looking for abnormalities, we help you speed up manual access control reviews and create an audit trail easily.


We use JumpCloud's built in admin API keys to access only the information we need to keep your asset inventory up to date.


  1. Navigate to the Integrations tab in Comply, click Add Integration, and select JumpCloud.
  2. Login in to JumpCloud as an admin.
  3. Click your login email in the top right corner and click the API Settings link. Click on the API key to copy it to your clipboard and paste it into Comply.


The most common problems when setting up the integration are:

  • Not logging into an admin account.
  • Mistakes entering the admin API key.

Access is Authorized & Granted
Comply uses JumpCloud to determine what users are allowed to access which applications. Based on authorizations you designate in Comply, we alert you when someone has access to an application that is not authorized.
