Tickets and Procedures represent work that needs to be done in order to fulfill your ISMS obligations. Procedures are like the "blueprints" for tickets that will be generated on an ongoing basis. Procedures are where you can specify the triggers, frequency, default assignees, and default guidance for future tickets.
Tickets themselves, on the other hand, are individual instances of work-to-be-done created from those procedures. Comply generates tickets to remind you to do important work, like periodic reviews or security meetings. If you have integrations set up, we'll even remind you to perform compliance activities when we detect changes like employee offboarding or adding a new vendor.
